Bryan Apolinar is a Chicago, Illinois based Production Sound Technician for the Television and Film Industry.
Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Bryan grew up in the inner city and developed a love for sound and music at a very young age. He learned to play the piano and several other percussion instruments at
The People’s Music School. His professional training in sound began at
Columbia College Chicago where he learned about live sound reinforcement. Eager to get out and gain experience, he responded to an ad posted at Columbia that landed him a job as Front of House Mixer for the Concerts in the Park Series, a program by the
Chicago Park District. Bryan has worked with artists such as,
Bill Porter and several artists from the
Putumayo record label. While he enjoyed working in the realm of live sound, he found his true passion working production sound for television broadcast and film.
Bryan has close to 10 years experience in the audio industry where his career has taken him all over the U.S. and several countries around the world. Feel free to view his Experience and Samples of work. Bryan truly enjoys working within the Sound Department, be it as a Utility Sound /A2 or Production Sound Mixer on any size project, and aspires to be a Sound Supervisor one day.
