Bryan Apolinar has close to 7 years experience working with sound where his career has taken him all over the U.S and several countries around the world. Bryan truly enjoys working within the Sound Department, be it as a Boom Operator, Utility/ A2, or Production Sound Mixer on any size project Studio Funded or Independent.

Born and raised in Chicago, IL, Bryan grew up in the inner city and developed a love for sound and music at a very young age. He learned to play percussion instruments at The People’s Music School. His professional training in sound began at Columbia College Chicago where he learned about live sound reinforcement, and sound for picture. Eager to get out and gain experience, he responded to an ad posted at Columbia that landed him a job as front of house sound mixer for the Concerts in the Park Series — a program by the Chicago Park District.  Bryan still enjoys the live performance experience and is heavily involved with Mylive Ticket- a production company that streams live concerts and events via the internet.

His experience with sound for picture began when he worked on an Independent Feature Film titled “Dog Jack” The film was released in both Theatre’s and then DVD nationwide to kick start Black History Month.

Bryan is also a member of IATSE and NABET and has had the opportunity to work or day play on shows such as Chicago Fire and events such as the 2013 Stanley Cup Series. Please feel free to visit the Experience and Samples page to learn more.
